If you were the director of a movie, you could paint a portrait of each
character for the actors, and tell them what should motivate them. You
might also tell them how to respond to the circumstances of their role.
But in life, obviously, you can't tell people what should motivate them or
how they should react to what they face, even though you would probably
like to do that for someone in your life right now, Moonchild. But what
you can do is figure out your own motivation, and how you should proceed
given the circumstances of an "actor" you can't control. How you deal with
this could actually be very motivating in an indirect way.

如果你是電影導演，你會為每一位演員描繪出屬於每一個角色的模樣，並且告訴他們
應該是什麼會激勵他們，你或許也會告訴他們如何應對他們的角色的情況。可是在現
實生活中，你顯然不能告訴人們應該是什麼會激勵他們或是他們應該如何應對他們所
面對的情況，就算此時此刻，你很可能會想為你生命中的某個人這樣做也一樣，月之
子。不過你可以做的是想清楚屬於自己的動機，還有針對現在一個你不能控制的「演
員」的情況，你應該如何處理。你如何處理這件事其實會以間接的方式讓你非常有動
力。
