響尾蛇隊球星Ketel Marte當然不是今年國聯的最有價值球員獎得主，不過，他還是有

Marte finished third in voting, behind unanimous winner Shohei Ohtani and
second-place finisher Francisco Lindor.

An incentive clause in his contract was triggered with the finish, bumping his2025 base salary from $16 million to $19 million. He signed an extension withthe Arizona Diamondbacks back in 2022.

Marte's contract guaranteed a $2 million bump the next season following a fourth-through-seventh place MVP finish, and a $3 million bump if he finished thirdor higher.
