[分享] 老虎總裁：交易大限前老虎會當買家

Speaking on the Tigers’ flagship radio station (97.1) Wednesday morning, Tigers president Scott Harris said he expects to be a buyer at the trade deadlinenext month.

“I hope so,” he said on the "Costa and Jansen" morning show. “We’re 20 gam
es over .500 and we’re playing very well. We’re preparing to add to the team
in July but we have to keep playing well to put ourselves in position to do that.”

老虎隊總裁Scott Harris 在上廣播節目受訪時表示，他預期球隊會在下個月的交易截止日前擔任買家的角色。

Harris 在「Costa and Jansen」晨間節目中說：「我希望如此。我們目前勝率超過五成二十場，而且表現非常好。我們正準備在七月增強球隊，不過我們必須持續打出好表現，才能讓自己站在那個位置上。」

Harris talked about taking a “pragmatic” approach toward clearly identifying
weaknesses and scouring the market for players who would address those specific weaknesses.

But, he said, he wasn’t in a position to identify those weaknesses because the team hasn’t yet been whole. “We’re still banged up,” he said. “It’s ha
rd to believe we’re in the position we are and we’ve still had so many injur
ies.”

Harris 提到球隊會採取「務實的」方式，明確找出球隊的弱點，並在市場上尋找能補強這些缺口的球員。

不過他也說，目前還無法明確指出哪些地方是弱點，因為球隊至今尚未達到完整陣容。Harris 說：「我們仍然有傷兵。說真的，我們能打到現在這樣的戰績已經很難得了，而我們至今還經歷了這麼多傷病。」

心得：Harris 說老虎會用務實的方式，應該就是指不會all in 農場吧，至少Clark 、McGonigle 這幾個基本上不會隨便放掉，然後老虎應該是要補投手吧，昨天守護神Will Vest 也受傷了，先發輪值能用的就Skubal 、Flaherty 跟Mize ，游擊手也要補。

不過好幾個賽季沒看過老虎當買家了，去年賽季打進季後賽也是在季中當賣家把Jack Flaherty 送去道奇隊。
