The Sasaki sweepstakes are entering the home stretch, with eight days to go before the start of the 2025 international amateur signing period on Jan. 15 and 16days remaining before the right-hander’s posting window is due to close on Jan. 23.

朗希競標進入最後衝刺階段，距離新一年的國際球員市場開跑只剩下8天，入札談判的最後期限則是16天。

We last heard from Sasaki’s camp on Dec. 30, when agent Joel Wolfe told reporters that the coveted pitcher had returned home to Japan to mull over his decision after meeting with teams in Los Angeles.

我們上一次聽到朗希陣營發布的消息是在去年12月30日，經紀人Joel Wolfe告訴記者他的客戶在洛杉磯與球隊會面後已經回到日本考慮他的決定。

To this point, Sasaki has met with seven known clubs: the Mets, Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs, Giants, Rangers and Padres. However, those might not be the only teams Sasaki is considering.

Wolfe said that 20 teams submitted presentations when Sasaki was posted by his NPB team, the Chiba Lotte Marines, on Dec. 9, and MLB Network insider Jon Paul Morosi reported Tuesday that at least one other club beyond the aforementioned seven has spoken with the hurler.

While it's unknown which other team (or teams) was granted the opportunity to speak with Sasaki, the Mariners, Red Sox, Phillies and Blue Jays were all previously mentioned among the likely contenders to sign him.

目前不曉得還有哪一隊（或哪幾隊）獲得跟朗希面試的機會，不過水手、紅襪、費城人跟藍鳥在此前的報導都被認為是可能簽下他的球隊之一。
