Police investigating A’s fans seemingly caught in stadium sex act

The Oakland Police Department has launched an investigation after two MLB
fans at the Athletics-Mariners game on Sunday allegedly engaged in a sex act
in the stands at RingCentral Coliseum.

“However, the parties have not been identified and no one has been
cited/arrested at this time. The violation is 647(a) PC. Lewd acts in public.”
If charged and convicted, the couple could face up to six months in jail and
a fine of $1,000.

During Oakland’s eventual 5-3 win against the Mariners, a fan in attendance
tweeted a video that appeared to show two fans sitting by themselves in the
top left corner of section 334.

It’s unclear if the A’s are involved in the investigation. The team has yet
to release a statement about the alleged incident.
