浴缸基本可以分成獨立式和崁入式，獨立式若浴缸不使用時，可以隨意移動，材質大多是’FRP’玻璃纖維，安裝起來方便也較輕，只需將排水管插入排水洞即可。崁入式要看使
否有’前牆’，或單純空缸，需要與泥作師傅配合施作對應尺寸安裝時才不會有問題，只
是拆除或浴缸壞損時要特別注意，有些浴缸下方基本是不會做防水層，因此若是公寓浴室有出現天花板漏水，可以詢問看看樓上屋主是否有浴缸破損等狀況。

另外若喜歡按摩浴缸，在水電拉電的部分就需要格外注意，對應到出水的沐浴龍頭還有按摩出水孔數選擇都要了解，才可以在浴缸施工完成後，在家好好的泡個好澡。
