通常洗澡時冷熱水溫度是由熱水器溫度控制，但如果沒有恆溫熱水器的話，也可以參考恆溫龍頭來控制溫度，透過內制溫控裝置，減少忽冷忽熱的情況產生。如果喜歡從頭淋到腳的感覺，安裝’花灑’或叫’頂噴’也是很棒的感受，只是家裡的水壓需要顧慮，從水塔
到花灑的位置建議要有三個樓差或有加壓馬達，才不會出水時感覺水壓力道很小。同樣的按摩式沐浴龍頭(淋浴柱)也有這樣的水壓需求，選擇商品時也要顧慮。

不管哪種方式來做為淋浴部分，轉接頭選擇也很重要，通常外國的"N型彎頭"沒有太多空間，因此最好知道淋浴龍頭的冷熱出水孔的距離，在選擇時才有依據減少安裝時的問題。
