教練回應威少說有權進入終結陣容的話題
On Russ saying he's earned the right to close regardless of how he's playing.
威少昨天賽後表示不論自己打得如何，他都有權進入終結陣容
"The needs of the team always come first. And Russ has accomplished a lot in this league and he's had some great games and sequences for us here, but my job isto win games and when you get in those situations you have a script of who you believe is going to be in there, and the game will tell you otherwise if a changeis needed. So we have to be willing to do whatever it takes to get the Lakers awin. And sometimes he's going to be in there for that and sometimes he's not."
教練今天賽後被問到威少這件事情，教練的看法是：球隊的需求永遠是第一位的，威少在聯盟取得過很多成就，也為我們打出了很多出色的比賽和回合。但我的工作就是贏球，在那種情況下，你心中會有一個你相信哪些球員能勝任這個任務的名單，如果需要改變，比賽也會告訴你結果。我們必須不惜一切代價幫助湖人贏球，所以他有時會在有時不在。
On what they want from Russ
"Well if you're struggling offensively, we want you to impact the game in otherways. Scoring is only one way to help your team win, or playmaking, and that's what we ask all of our guys to do. But we as a whole are not playing well enoughon either side of the ball. We got our tails kicked by Milwaukee, and there areobviously a thousand details that go into executing our system. But for Russ, we're looking for him to attack the basket and make great decisions when he gets there. To put a lot of pressure on the rim, to finish, to be efficient with his scoring, keep his turnovers down and play hard on the defensive side of the ball."
談到對威少的比賽希望，教練表示：如果你在進攻端掙扎，我們希望你能從其他方面影響比賽。得分只是幫助球隊贏球的一種方式，組織也是，這就是我們對隊員的統一要求。但是作為一個團隊，我們攻防兩端都不夠好，顯然，我們的體系有上千個細節需要糾正。但是對於威少，我們期待他攻擊籃框、完成終結、高效得分、減少失誤和努力防守。
