For the first time in league history, Major League Baseball jerseys will
feature advertisements beginning this season.
大聯盟史上第一次：從今年起，美國職棒的比賽時球衣將會出現(除Nike之外的)商業
式贊助。
The advertisements will appear via patches on jerseys and decals on batting
helmets.
商業贊助將會以兩種方式呈現－(1)球衣上的補丁、(2)打擊頭盔上的貼紙。
The MLS introduced them in 2007 and the NBA followed suit in 2017. The NHL
has approved them for the 2022-23 season.
順便簡單整理其他運動聯盟球衣廣告化的情形—
(1)職足MLS：從2007開始，是美國首個開放此種贊助的有規模聯賽
(2)職籃NBA：2017開放，是美國四大聯賽之首

1.After MLB's decision, the NFL is now the only league without plans for
jersey advertising.
這也使得NFL(職業美式足球)變成美國四大球類聯賽中，唯一尚未開放球衣廣告的
聯盟
2. The NBA is the most recent league to add jersey advertising, and the move
has already paid off handsomely. According to Boardroom, the jersey patch
program produced a combined value of $225 million for the 2021-22 season,
over double the league's original estimates.
MLB會開放球衣廣告，跟其經濟效益當然有關－以NBA為例：球衣別上廣告補丁，
在今年的經濟效益就超過2億美金，比官方原先預估還多出一倍。
心得︰志豪鍋爐或瑪吉斯輪胎等台灣廠商，要來贊助美國職棒球隊了嗎XD？
當然，美國還是有一些運動評論員或球迷，不太能接受為了商業破壞球衣的美感

不過NBA的球衣設計算是在商業效益與美感上達成平衡，相信MLB應該也可以做得到，
而且我相信NFL這樣規模更高的聯賽，應該也會開放出租球衣廣告版面了
