Castro announced his retirement from baseball Friday.
After 12 years in the big leagues with four different teams, Castro has
officially caught his final pitch from behind home plate. The one-time
All-Star finishes his career with a .227/.312/.387 slash line, 97 home runs
and 325 RBI.

當時在2008年選秀會上在第一輪第10順位被太空人隊挑中
一路從太空人隊農場體系快速晉升，在2010年就被球團升上大聯盟
另外他也效力過雙城隊、教士隊、天使隊
合計12年大聯盟生涯，曾經入選過一次大聯盟全明星賽
一共繳出678支安打、97發全壘打、325分打點，通算打擊三圍 .227/.312/.387 OPS 0.699
