Anthony Davis is back at Crypto.com Arena, but this time around he's a memberof
the Dallas Mavericks.

Davis returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday for the first time since he was traded
to the Mavericks on Feb. 2, alongside Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pic, i
n exchange for Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris. Tuesday marks the f
irst matchup between the Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers since the tradewe
nt down earlier this month and the regular-season game is widely being hailedas
a revenge game for both Don i and Davis.

Davis, however, will have to wait for his revenge.

The NBA champion and 10-time All-Star won't be available when the Mavericks take
on his former team on Tuesday as he recovers from a left adductor strain suffer
ed in his Mavericks debut on Feb. 8. Davis has been sidelined ever since, butth
at didn't stop Davis from getting some shots up ahead on the familiar courts ins
ide of Crypto.com Arena, where Davis had called home for over five seasons.
