Pelicans Tried To Keep Dyson Daniels Out Of Trade With Hawks For Dejounte Murray

The Hawks wanted to acquire a player for Murray that would help them protect
Trae Young on defense. While the Pelicans wanted to keep Daniels, they consider-ed him expendable due to the presence of Herb Jones and Trey Murphy III on thewings.

老鷹當時在交易談判點名Daniels的原因，是想要有球員在防守上協助一哥Trae Young
。鵜鶘當時的確也想把DD留在隊上，但考量側翼這個位置已經有Herb Jones與Trey

Daniels has six games of at least three steals this season and leads the NBA indeflections per game with 7.6.

"He's always been good defensively," one scout told ESPN of Daniels, "but

反觀鵜鶘，雖然球隊能握住明年抽Cooper Flagg或Ace Bailey的機會，但反而讓人
看到總管在談判上的軟肋，感覺鵜鶘的管理組應該要來個大清洗，或至少好好
上一堂談判課，避免在交易談判時又吃虧了！
