The tournament in Barcelona is really almost home for me, because I am a
member of the club where it takes place. But there were reasons for this
decision. Last year, the organizers of the tournament in Barcelona did not
behave very nicely towards several players, including me. I do not want to
reveal the details, but these were really significant nuances, and it is not
surprising that some well-known names were missing from the list of
participants in the Barcelona tournament. As a result, I accepted the
invitation to play at the Serbia Open and did not lose. In Belgrade, I was
treated ten times better than I could have expected.

New company in charge since last year and tbh, I really felt the difference
this year. More than 10 years that i am going and the change is noticeable.
Everything is done around Spanish players and hospitality VIP. Regular fans
and not Spanish players are small fry.
