Gary Payton II’s heartfelt gesture for dyslexic kids at Warriors game
Gary Payton二世在勇士比賽對閱讀障礙小孩子的暖心舉動

Gary Payton II has been bringing the energy and passion all season long for
the Golden State Warriors. He has played himself into the hearts of fans and
impressed the team with his hustle. Recently, he showed his passion off the
court to support kids with learning disabilities.
GPII本季替勇士在場上帶來了能量以及熱情，他的球風深入球迷的內心，也讓球隊對他
的積極留下深刻印象。最近，他在場外也對有學習障礙的小孩表現出他的熱情。

Payton grew up with dyslexia, a disability that affects kids’ reading,
spelling, writing and word pronunciation skills. It is a common learning
disability and can be present in others who do not have a learning disabilitythrough various symptoms, according to the International Dyslexia Association.GPII從小就有閱讀障礙，會影響閱讀，拼字，寫字以及發音的技巧。根據國際閱讀障礙
協會，這種問題很常見，在沒有學習障礙的小孩子身上可能也有不同的狀況。

To help inspire the next generation of dyslexic kids, Payton teamed up with
Decoding Dyslexia CA to host a group of dyslexic kids at the Warriors game
against the Detroit Pistons, which they won 102-86. Payton shook hands with
the kids before the game to welcome them to the Chase Center.
為了啟發下一世代有閱讀障礙的小孩子們，GPII跟加州解碼閱讀障礙組織(Decoding
Dyslexia CA)合作，招待一群有閱讀障礙的小孩到勇士場館看昨天打活塞的比賽，最後
勇士以102-86獲勝。在比賽前，GPII與這群小孩子們握手，歡迎他們的到來。

Two weeks ago, Payton met with Michelle Perry, a representative for DDCA, to
host a virtual reading for dyslexic kids. He briefly discussed what it was
like growing up with dyslexia and urged the audience to not be afraid to ask
for help.
兩個星期前，GPII跟DDCA的代表碰面，為了閱讀障礙的小朋友舉行了一個線上導讀會，
他也短暫提到他從小就有閱讀障礙，也呼籲大家不要害怕去找幫助。

“My mom actually identified it. She saw I was tongue-twisting the words &
sounds… Don't be afraid to ask for hеlp. Growing up I was afraid until I
realized there's no shame in asking for help.”
「實際上是我媽媽注意到的。他看到我講話舌頭發音很怪...不要害怕去尋求幫助！
從小長大我很怕去找幫忙，直到我了解到尋求幫忙一點都不可恥。」
