Catcher James McCann has been released by the Braves so he can sign a
major-league deal with the Diamondbacks, sources tell @TheAthletic.
Dbacks starting catcher Gabriel Moreno is on IL with a right hand contusion.

McCann’s minor-league deal with the Braves included a rolling opt-out. If
another club offered him a major-league job, the Braves needed to either
promote him or allow him to depart.
響尾蛇隊以大聯盟合約簽下 James McCann
陣中主戰捕手 Gabriel Moreno 因為右手受傷，已經被列入傷兵名單
McCann 今年球季原先是以小聯盟合約加入勇士隊
不過在合約當中附帶逃脫條款，因此勇士隊把他釋出，讓他可以跟響尾蛇隊簽約
本季在勇士隊小聯盟3A一共出賽41場
