Another ironic detail here is that the company’s advertising system uses data from its other services and your Apple account to decide which ads to serve. That doesn’t feel like a privacy-first policy.

另一個諷刺的細節是，蘋果的系統會使用使用者的各個裝置上，和Apple ID內儲存的資料來決定要提供哪些廣告。這感覺不像以隱私為主的政策。

You can disable the ad personalization feature (look under Apple Advertising inthe settings app’s Privacy & Security menu), and the company says that 78% of iOS 15 users have done just that. But the system will still leverage data like the identity of your carrier, device type and what you read.

You may ask then, why don’t Apple apps have to ask permission to track users via a pop-up message? That’s what happens with other apps under ATT.

你可能會問，那為什麼蘋果自家的App不用詢問使用者是否要關閉允許追蹤？畢竟其他第三方App都需要問過使用者。

The reason, Apple says, is that the system “does not follow you across apps and websites owned by other companies.” That’s what ATT is designed to prevent. If a third-party app doesn’t track across outside apps and websites, it also doesn’t need to show a pop-up.

按照蘋果說的，系統「不會追蹤其他公司的App和網站」，這是應用程式追蹤透明度設計出來的目的，如果某個第三方App不會追蹤其他App或網站，那就沒有詢問使用者的必要。


後面的篇幅都是在講蘋果廣告的後續計畫，以及會造成的影響，與隱私關係不大就不翻了
簡單來說，新的廣告政策並沒有違反蘋果的程式追蹤透明化
但那是因為，受影響的只有會跨App追蹤的第三方程式
蘋果自己的App並不會跨App追蹤別家公司的App資料，而是拿手機裡存的資料來用
所以嚴格上並沒有違反他的程式追蹤透明度……

但諷刺的是，這跟蘋果自己宣稱的「注重使用者隱私」卻背道而馳，確實有點蘋果可以其他人都不行的感覺……
