Scott Blewett News: Dropped from 40-man

The Twins designated Blewett for assignment Saturday.

Blewett has made two appearances since being selected from the minors,
allowing one earned run across 4.2 innings while striking out five batters
and walking none. Despite his strong performance, the Twins will look to movehim to the minors and call up Kody Funderburk from Triple-A to fill the open
spot in the bullpen.
