不過Toronto Raptors的所有公司是MLSE(Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment)
其組成為Rogers Communications 37.5% Bell Canada Enterprise 37.5%
Kilmer Sports 25%
相較於Toronto Blue Jays of MLB是幾乎由Rogers Communications獨有差異有點大
藍鳥隊可以說是Rogers Communications的老闆/家族族長Edward Rogers的禁臠
連這次小V葛的續約 500MM/14yr的延長合約也是Edward Rogers直接參與談約
MLSE旗下的球隊Raptors of NBA, Maple Leafs of NHL, Toronto FC,
Toronto Argos of CFL算是比較好談錢的 不過還是偏愛Maple Leafs就是了
23年簽下與現任隊長Auston Mathews 13.25MM AAV/4yr的延長合約
而今年的薪資更是全聯盟最高的16.7MM
所以說MLSE或Rogers不願意花錢也是不一定
往往比較像是開了高價卻沒人想來的情形
多是靠自己養或簽一些年紀大想再證明自己的球員
我是覺得目前的態勢是簽Ingram放RJB有點可惜啦 畢竟RJB土生土長的多倫多人
這裡當地的球迷是對Raptors沒什麼期待啦 大家正在為Maple Leafs拿下分區冠軍瘋狂
天啊 Maple Leafs竟然是多倫多奪冠的唯一希望 不過我已經準備好失望了
還是Go Leafs Go啦
