Aug. 16: OF Mike Trout (left hamate fracture) could begin facing pitchers this week

After taking swings with a pitching machine for the first time in six weeks on Friday, Trout could begin facing live pitching when the team returns to Los Angeles on Thursday.

While it isn’t set in stone that the 11-time All-Star will face pitchers, manager Phil Nevin said the superstar outfielder was hitting off a machine again on Wednesday and progressing well.

雖然還未確定，但Nevin說鱒魚今天又打了發球機而且目前進展不錯

“He’s hitting again today and he feels really good,” Nevin said. “So, we’re
gonna move forward with some of the things he’s been doing. He feels like he’s really close [to a return]. We might be able to make a decision in the next couple of days about him seeing some pitchers.

「他（Trout）今天又打了一次，感覺不錯，所以我們決定進行下一步。他覺得自己狀態接近回歸了，在他面對一些投手後，我們會在接下來幾天做出決定。」

"We’ve got an off-day [Thursday] and can make anything happen, but we’re encouraged about where he’s at right now."

“Looks like Wednesday,” Nevin said. “We talked about Tuesday or possibly Wednesday. Once we get home and he gets his bullpens out of the way, it is something that we will discuss. But it’s looking like Wednesday -- the last day of the homestand -- which would’ve been his [regular turn] anyway.”

應該是美國時間的下週三，具體時間還要看大谷在牛棚練投的狀況
