心得:

GRE Tofel 不多贅述，就考到110 and 325(Q滿分 AWA3)就好了，再高感覺沒啥太大意義。

本人profile比較偏向數學，包括大學，實習以及正職，都主要凸顯數學能力，相較之下CS
很弱，大學只修了一門大一的計算機程式 in C，然後工作上使用 Julia, Matlab, R,
Pyhon 這些大家常用的語言, 架過幾個用來demo數學模型的小網站,簡單的 API 開發, 簡單的使用aws, 操作sql等等。想要自己profile更全面的人可以大學多學幾門資結演算法之?
，經營一下自己的github，多刷刷題（C++ and Python）。

數學方面的話就幾門基礎的課，高微, 線代, ode, pde, Calculus-based Probability
and Statistics感覺就差不多了，實分析測度論以上隨緣吧，好像也沒太多人真的好好學過，而且各大mfe program好像最近比較哈(ㄏㄚˋ)CS強的人，數學基本的先學好就好
，其他時間先練coding，也算是業界趨勢。

面試的話就是想看你是不是stuttering 臭nerd, 建議多跟朋友喝酒聊天出門看看世
界, 畢竟是金融業, 學校也希望你能跟舒服的跟人講話。稍微油條，幽默又不失禮節，
保持帥哥。建議長的乾凈一點，不要看起來像個死臭宅。基本上都是錄影面試，有
一兩家真人zoom，問的問題跟托福差不多沒太多technical問題，頂多解個ode或積個分，腦筋急轉彎之類的機巧之辯。

SOP的話基本上是老王賣瓜不要害羞。個人覺得未來職涯規劃的部分最重要，
寫得好的話可以突顯你對業界的了解，越具體越好。也很重要的就是做過什麼事，
然後這些事怎麼突顯你的各項能力(Math, CS, Finance, and Networking skills)。
最後，因為MFE program 同質性很高，為什麼選這 program 我覺得簡單帶過就好，
硬要吹捧的話我都吹到害羞不好意思，學校也知道你在硬吹，不如把篇幅讓給其他東西。

選校方面 可以參考 Quantnet, risk.net 和 TFE, 不過看看就好, 每年都在變不要太在意, 如果你真的很硬要排, 我覺得Quantnet peer assessment那一欄感覺比較符合業界刻板印象裡的排名，3.8以上那幾間再加上MIT和standford都算 tier 1，上了就去吧，
3.8-3.0 tier 2也很棒。此外，我是覺得，mfe基本上就是買個去美國工作的入場券，開學?
前各項能力就要先到位了，一開學就要開始找實習，然後networking到爆。

顧問跟補習，我是覺得不要啦，在那邊鬧，不如省下來等拿ad後去慶功，喝到幹。

Quantnet跟中國那邊的一畝三分地也有很多資訊。

本人主要興趣在數學，NYU Courant 也算是數學系的春夢，無可厚非。
